Kileshwar

At Bhanvad taluka and border of Porbander District, above Barda Hills, during Jamrajvi, Kileswar Mahadev Temple was built. The area lies in the area of declared reserve forest governance Sivalaya shows the glory of Jamsasan. During shravan month in Kilesvarana temple there is a crowd of pilgrims for darshan.

Kileshwar is known for its beautiful Mahadev Temple surrounded by mountains, located in Barda Hills, 50 kms from Jamnagar, Gujarat. Jamnagar’s rajvi shri Jaam Sahib has constructed the Kileshwar mahadev temple and this is how the name of this place is given. Accordingly mythology; Pandavas stayed at this place during their isolation period. In Gujarati calendar when Shravan month starts near about 2500 to 5000 people daily visit this lovely place. In Shravan month food service also provided for visitors by Shatrushalya sinhji.

Kileshwar located at Barda hill famous for various tourist attractions like Shiv temple, water pond, fort, natural water fall, dam and forest area. Mainly this place is open for tourist during Shravan month and this is the only best time to visit this place.natural swimming pools are available during monsoon. If you want to enjoy swimming then you should not go during Shravan month to avoid crowd.

How to Reach:

By Air

By landing Porbandar airport or by landing at Jamnagar airport, from these travelling 50 km or 90 km respectively.

By Train

By arriving at Bhanvad railway station from travelling about 15 km.

By Road

By road from Porbandar can be directly reached via Ranavav, from Jamnagar can be reached direclty via Lalpur.
